While planning for year end clearance, one of my regulars wrote me an email asking me if I had commissioned a Bulk Purchase online. It was a surprise to me as I had not done so.

Having mixed feelings, I realised that I had to do something fast!
My biggest concern was to the customers, retailers and the good name of JJB.

I appreciate the fact that JJB is becoming a big hit as a result of my marketing efforts since 2005 as a premium and niche diaper bags that mummies would love to have for it’s style, print and of course the science, coupled with confidence with its warranty tags.

Most mummies bought Ju Ju Be at the full retail price because they believe it is worth every cent they pay for, and store owners placed Ju Ju Be in their store because they like the marketing strategy and our commitment to protect their interests in terms of retail price and discounts. This is to ensure fairness across all sales channels.

It is indeed most gratifying to see the interest and confidence in JJB to warrant a BP, however, much regrettably, we will be doing our regulars, customers, retailers and our principals a big dis-service to allow BP by unauthorised parties as this can result in a disconnect with our service level quality and our warranty standards. It would not have been fair to the participants of the BP if we were to reject exchange or replacement of products with quality issues. It will further undermine all the efforts that we had done for JJB. Furthermore, it had been very clear to us when we first achieve exclusivity to the distribution of JJB products, that neither we nor distributors from other territories can or shall sell in bulk or excess multitude out of their exclusive areas. We do not do it and we appreciate that others do not do so as well without prior approval from our Prinicpal.

Given this, I followed up with an email to the forum to urge assistance in this matter. Thankfully, the BP was withdrawn. I must comment that although this may reflect badly for the BP’s organiser, it was with serious considerations for the majority that I had no choice but react in this manner. I will be most delighted to work with the organiser to get the items she want at a reasonable price.

With this incident, I strongly urged participants of BPs to exercise caution and restraint while conducting online purchases. Many a times, it is “caveat emptor”. Conduct necessary checks and determine the efforts and risks taken before making a purchase. For a couple of dollars saved, you could be putting down all efforts of the originator who first brought in the good products. Those who know us will know that we always sell based on integrity basis and we had always been there to provide advice, demo and exchanges when necessary.

The Lightest & The Biggest JJB are finally here!

Have the first touch of these babies. Be Light indeed light and also spacious. I think it is really great for mum who are still breastfeeding and love to carry light. Even if you no longer breastfeeding and need to go out for a short while to run errands, have meals or bring your young kid for class, it really doesn’t weighs you down and it is really stylish.

It is so trendy that I am going to sell this to anyone who are not mum, single or even teens. I am sure they will love it too :)

Will post a photo with Be Light when I have the chance to use it. I am still using my good ole Be All and BeTween.

Wannabe - Oh boy, real XL size. Can even put my eldest (3yos) inside like a baby carrier. Doesn’t come with a changing mat instead 2 wet bags of different sizes came with it. I think with new innovation like Sand Trap and exterior towel holder, you really want to bring Wannabe out to East Coast or Sentosa with your kids. Wannabe is also great for road trip to Malaysia.

Babetitude.com has been really quiet first half of 2008, lack of updates, events and communications.

Guess these are results of trying to over multi-tasks, I am human afterall.

I remember 5 months back, still carrying a bundle in front, going to work, delivering goods to customers and shops,taking care of my gal, hubby and home. It’s crazy and I am constantly upset because I am tired and guilty that I am not able to do every of the above listed to it’s best especially taking care of my gal and the little one inside.

I am blessed anyway to have my sister, Evelyn who help with everything you see on our webstore since it is revamped early 2008. My husband who took care of my gal when I am busy or unwell, my business coach, Nanz (yes, Nanz - $1.99 shops owner turned business coach) for all the encouragements,directions and patience and lastly customers and regulars of Babetitude who still patronise. THANK YOU !!

For now, I will have to start from scratch to do everything myself because my bundle of joy is out and evelyn also found a real job. I am not sure how well I can do it like before but I will try my best.

Just want to share my 2nd bundle of joy with all. He is my new found strength :)

Haha… One thing good about Singapore is our tropical weather. Though it can get pretty warm sometimes, I realized that we can visit the beach as and when we like, all year round! If the beach is too far away from home, we can still cool down at a nearby swimming pool or enjoy a breezy walk in the park.

A quick countdown… Father’s day is this Sunday, I think.

I think I complain way too much about everything…

However, the recent twin disasters in Asia kinda slapped me in the face. They happened so close to home and though Singapore is considered quite safe, it could happen to us too. I simply cannot imagine myself in a situation where I lose my home and family at the same time. It must be very tough for all survivors in Myanmar and China.

I hope and pray for God (regardless of religion) to provide strength and help to those in need.

A day in May is simply not enough to celebrate the nine months of labour, one month of hardship confinement and the amount of time spent looking after the kids. Mummies would know what I mean but if you’re not one, think of your beloved Mum :D

This year’s celebration was a little impromptu… I had a plan to gather my aunties and cousins for a BIG one but since the plan wasn’t finalized by Saturday, I kinda pretended it didn’t exist at all. So, we just settled for a small dinner at Sushi Tei and bought a cake for dessert.

As usual, I stuffed myself with like 4 Futomaki (and you know how huge they are) because Sushi Tei seems to be the only place that have those pinky sweet fish floss within. Yummy!

Cloie seems to be in a good mood that day. Singing and dancing for everyone :) Can’t help be feel that all children among our own and extended families are growing WAY to fast…
