Earlier this year, we went round shopping for a “better” childcare and chance upon some premium childcare centres that are offering this very interesting extended program known as FasTracKids®.

We chance upon this program once again recently and were pleasantly surprised that it is right here, right now an independent program run by TwinkleKidz School House which everyone can take up without having to send your kids to premium childcare centres!

Brief introduction of the FasTracKids®

FasTracKids® is a weekly program that is highly interactive, incorporating songs, movement, experiment and hands on activities to develop concentration, communication, self-esteem and social skills. The programs are modular based with individualise classroom presentations & videotaping experience for all students which provided confidence building within the child and prepares them for any public speaking event which they will or might require in their adult life. 12 FasTrack Modules that will be covered are as follows :

•Astronomy - Biology - Creative Literature
•Earth Sciences - Economics - Mathematics
•Commuincation - Creativity - Goals & Life Lessons
•Technology - Natural Science - Speech, Drama & Art

We signed Cloie up immediately when we know TwinkleKidz have trial class coming up… Some reasons we are so attracted to the program

1) According to principal of the premier childcare centre we talked to, children enjoy FasTracKids® very much in the school and their parents welcome this program very much. Children in their centre are not just talking about ABC or 123 during conversation, but stars, volcano and how plant take in water… I don’t even remember or know some of these facts. Not kiasu to make Cloie cleverer like others, but I believe such learning environment really kick-start children’s “hunger” to learn and find out more.

2) Oh…the very special touch-screen panel, it’s called the smartboard. Children will be so enthusiatic to participate answering questions or draw trails on this panel. Even the quiet and shy child in the trial wants to try it. (Me too!! but i gave the chance to the kids…)

TwinkleKidz School House stands-out among the older houses around it. You can’t missed it when you travel along East Coast Road after St. Patrick School.

It’s newly renovated with a longish porch as waiting area or outdoor experiement space.

Best part on this location, parking is free.  

We are greeted by friendly and smilely staffs of TwinkleKidz.

The smart board here is fixed on the wall with a built for purpose mini stage.

I am sure this stage serves to instil confidence and allows the little ones to overcome stage fright. It’s not easy even for kids/adults to stand on stage confidently to give even a brief introduction of themselves, and if such a fear is eliminated early in their life, they will display such confidence and charisma, just as how we had seen politicians and CEOs presented themselves(haha…that’s my point of view)

What we saw at the interesting trial was dedicated engagement level with highly stimulated curious kids who were equally captivated by hands on experiments in a safe environment. This form of interactive learning through creative play and  allows seeing to believe helps the kids to focus and think as well as remember what they had seen. I must admit, even parents can pick up a thing or 2, sometimes basic knowledge that we had long thrown behind us. We observed good care, patience and attention from the well trained facilitators who ensures no kid were left out in the class. 

TwinkleKidz’s director, Jessica also planned  little snack break for the children in between lesson (”I like this, because I never know any enrichment class done that”) knowing that they have limited concentration span. With some refreshment and yummy snack, sure put thechildren back in action really fast.

“I personally like the centre and the people very much because you really see how dedicated they are, taking care of the children just like how we will to our own. You know even the not so important toilet is laid with colorful tiles chose with so much thought. “

After FasTracKids® trial, the kids also enjoy KinderMusik® in the another room. The class start off with a small story, then followed by action songs. The kids get to play with musical instruments too. This trial price of $25 I paid definitely worth it!!!

We do not like to just  write about the goodness, we like you, our members, fans or friends to try it out yourself with your children too. So we talked to Jessica and she agreed generously with a discounted trial class fee and she even arranged special date and time just for us to have our own class!!!
